WhatsApp Pin up to Three Messages in a Chat
Previously, users could only able to pin one message in the chat that show at the top of the conversation. But now the meta-owned messaging app enhances the accessibility of the feature that’s great for users who pin multiple messages.
It is not limited to text message type only and has extended to all message types including text, images, and polls that make the pinned messages invaluable for quickly accessing within the individual chat or group.

Once you pinned the messages will be at the top of the chat as banners for periods of 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. You can easily unpin the messages at any moment. If you forget to unpin manually then messages will automatically unpin once the specified duration elapses.
The ability to pin three messages is available for both individual and group chat. To pin the multiple messages you have to follow these steps.

- You have to go to the chat individual or group.
- After this, long-press on the messages.
- Tap on the more options.
- After this select the Pin option and choose the duration
- Now your specific messages are pinned at the top of the conversation.
Group Admins can also allow users to pin messages in group chats. A system message will notify all the group members about the pinned messages. The new ability to pin up to three messages is available on Android, iOS, and Web or Desktop users.
