On September 13, founder Kavin Bharti Mittal confirmed the closure. He posted a note on LinkedIn and his blog. He admitted raising more capital was possible. But he questioned whether a reset was worth it. After talks with investors and the team, he decided to stop.<\/p>\n
Mittal said Hike\u2019s US business had shown growth. It launched only nine months earlier and was strong. But global expansion needed huge resources and time. Kavin Mittal admitted the market lacked clarity and carried risks.<\/p>\n
