It keeps working on the end-to-encryption backup feature to secure users’ chat backups so that unauthorized users won’t access the users’ chat backups on iCloud.<\/p>\n

You can set the passcode to secure your chat history and media files while your backups you chat on iCloud. When you restore your chat history and media on WhatsApp then you have to enter the passcode to decrypt your backups. No one can read your chat and media once you set the end-to-end encryption on your Chat backups on WhatsApp. The unauthorized users won’t be able to access your content and your chat history and media files are secured with the end-to-end encryption backup feature on WhatsApp. This feature is under development and it will roll out soon for all users.<\/p>\n
