The new feature has been discovered on WhatsApp for Android beta 2.24.17.5. With this feature, the community administrators have control over the visibility of specific group chats. By enabling this new option, admins can ensure that specific group chats aren’t visible to the general community members.
One important thing is to note that this new option can’t be changed once the group is added to the community to ensure privacy for all group members.
The new feature will enhance the overall management of WhatsApp communities. The community Admins can create hidden groups for sensitive topics, exclusive discussion, or for moderators to communicate privately. The new community group chat visibility feature is rolling out for some beta testers.
